Al Jaber L.E.G.T Engineering & Contracting (ALEC) LLC is one of the leading contractors in the UAE; having completed such diverse projects as the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort and Spa, Park Hyatt Hotel – Saadiyat Island, Mirdif City Centre, Dubai Marina Mall; Hotel and Apartments, Yas Links Golf Club, Dubai International Airport Expansion - Phase 2, Abu Dhabi Airport Terminal 1 Refurbishment (ALEC Fit out) and Al Falah Community Development (ALEMCO – MEP works).
Customer Requirement
ALEC operates over many projects ranging from small MEP and fit out packages to major infrastructure developments such as the airports in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. They required a solution which could capture attendance information on their small sites and feed this back into their time & attendance system. The solution would have to meet the varied requirements of small and constant changing sites.
Solution
Our solution was to supply a handheld attendance device which was compatible with their existing identity cards. The device required a supervisor to login and register their details before they would collect the attendance data.
The device was configured to work offline and sync its data when an internet connection is available to our CLARATI Cloud solution. An automated process is then used to rely the attendance data into ALEC’s Time & Attendance system.
